What this covers

This policy describes how anidub ("we") handles information when you use www.anidub.moe, the public API, and the browser extension.

Information we collect

• Account data — email and display name if you create an account; password hashes if you sign up with email.
• Optional connections — AniList tokens and list metadata if you connect AniList; billing identifiers if you subscribe via our payment provider.
• Usage — search and lookup activity needed to rate-limit the API; cookieless analytics (page views, no advertising cookies).
• Submissions — dub-status reports you send for review.

How we use it

To provide dub-status answers, sync optional watch lists, send alerts you opt into, enforce rate limits, improve the product, and communicate about your account. We do not sell personal data.

Sharing

We use infrastructure and service providers (hosting, email, payments, analytics) that process data on our behalf. Public catalogue pages show dub status and source provenance for titles — not your private account information.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account from settings, which removes personal account records we control. Aggregated analytics may remain.
